Combining superior performance with a lightweight design at just 16.5 pounds, this bagless upright vacuum cleaner offers powerful cleaning throughout the home, from top to bottom. The unit's five-position carpet-height adjustment allows for effectively cleaning of all floor types.

Anybody with children will find this thing a godsend. I have been using a standard vac all my life. When things got really messy, usually a result of kids spilling a cup of who knows what all over the carpet, I’d do my best to take care of it myself. Once in a while I’d arrange to have people in to steam clean everything properly, they always did a great job but it was just way too inconvenient with the amount of spills we had once the little one started walking about. One of my girlfriends gave me one of these as a gift and I have absolutely fallen in love with it.

As can be expected from a longstanding brand like Hoover, their latest vacuums are truly state of the art muck and grime cleaners. This steam cleaner can get rid of even the most stubborn stains and will suck up liquids before they even have a chance to leave any sort of impression on your carpet. We have a light colored carpet too, and after only a week of using this thing it’s looking cleaner than ever. Very straightforward system, dirty and clean water are stored in two separate tanks which are easy to change out, and the vaccum will just glide along the surface of your carpet without the need to exert hardly any force at all. The additional clean surge option is also great to have – when steam isn’t doing the trick and you need that extra kick, you can shoot a little cleaning solution in there to loosen things up.

This is just a really great machine. It has made cleaning so much less of a chore. At the risk of sounding like a bit of a weirdo, I almost look forward now to the kids making a mess so that I can get it out!
